In celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Advaita Ashrama at Mayavati conducted a two-days residential Youth Convention on the 24th and 25th of June. Forty-five students (boys and girls) belonging to the Kumaon region participated. Apart from places nearby Mayavati, students came from far-off places like Rudrapur, Tanakpur, Amori, and Nainital. They were introduced to Swami Vivekananda’s ideas, Bhagavad Gita, and Yoga.
This is the first time that a residential Youth Convention was held in Mayavati for the students of that region.
